About this journal

Your PT asks how the knee has been since last Thursday. You say "okay, I think," because honestly, the week is a blur of the same ten exercises, one bad morning, and a vague sense that the stairs got easier. Or harder. You're not sure.

Recovery is slow enough to feel invisible while you're inside it. Rebuild is a physical therapy journal that makes it visible.

It starts with the full story in one place: what happened, the diagnosis in your doctor's own words, imaging, any surgery, and your PT's plan. Then it holds your exercise program exactly as prescribed, sets and reps and the do's and don'ts, so home-you remembers what clinic-you was told. From there, you log each clinic visit and each home exercise day, track your pain and measurements, and bring the whole book to your next session. "It kind of hurt this week" becomes something your PT can actually use.

It also makes room for the part nobody warns you about: the boredom, the setbacks, and the days you miss your old body. On a discouraging week, the earlier pages are proof that you've moved.

What's inside

  • My Recovery pages — the injury, diagnosis, tests, and treatment plan, all in one spot
  • My Program pages — your exercise library as your PT wrote it, so you stop guessing at home
  • 16 clinic session logs — what you worked on, pain before and after, and homework assigned
  • 24 home exercise day logs — honest records of the days nobody is watching
  • Tracking pages — pain scores, measurements, weekly check-ins, and flare-ups over time
  • Mind & Motivation pages — for setbacks, plateaus, and comparing yourself to the old you
  • Life & Logistics pages — HMO or PhilHealth details, sessions covered, receipts, and referrals
  • Graduation pages — for the day your PT says you're done

It's for anyone going through physical therapy after an injury, a surgery, or one bad landing on the basketball court. It's also a practical gift for a parent heading into rehab after a knee replacement, or the barkada friend who tore something playing pickleball and is now very bored at home.

Rebuild tracks your program; it doesn't prescribe one. Your exercises, loads, and limits come from your PT and doctor, and this book simply works alongside them.

Slow progress is still progress. This is where you get to see it.
