About this journal

Your first padel game went something like this: you laughed, you missed half the balls that came off the glass, and by the drive home you were already checking court availability for the weekend.

Padel hooks people fast. The tricky part comes a few months later, when you're still playing the same way you did in week two.

The Padel Journey is a practice journal for getting past that stage. It gives you a place to write down what you worked on, what your coach or a better partner told you, and which wall situations still catch you out, so each session builds on the last one. Most of that advice is gone by the time you've found your car keys. Here, it stays.

It starts with what makes padel its own sport: playing the ball off your own glass, the underhand serve, and why the lob is a winning shot and not a panic button. From there it moves in three levels, from your first real rallies to playing off the walls on purpose, and eventually to the smash, sharper tactics, and your first tournament. You move up when the milestone page says you're ready, not when you feel like it.

What's inside

  • 12 practice session logs — remember what you drilled and how it went
  • 12 drill trackers — watch your counts improve as the weeks go by
  • 9 match logs — see which patterns win you points and which keep losing them
  • 6 coach & clinic notes pages — for the tips you'd otherwise forget by dinner
  • Partner feedback and "what to work on" pages — honest input from the people on your side of the net
  • 15 skill focus pages across three levels, each with a drill to try
  • Court rules, golden rules, a glossary, milestone checks, and a page for your clubs and regular partners

It's a good fit for new players who just booked their first package, tennis converts learning to love the walls, and regulars who want to stop hitting the same shots in the same spots. It also makes a fun gift for the officemate who has quietly turned your group chat into a padel booking channel.

The glass gives you second chances. This helps you learn from them.
